Nordic is a Canadian company: their geothermal heat pumps have been manufactured in New Brunswick since 1981.

There are three types of Nordic ground source heat pumps to choose from, depending on the distribution system being used in the home:

• Liquid to Air
• Liquid to Water
• Multi Function (Liquid to Air and Liquid to Water Capabilities)

Nordic Geothermal Heat Pumps offer the advantage of providing pre-heating to domestic hot water whenever the geothermal heat pump operates.

A three way reversing valve is standard in most Nordic geothermal heat pump units, which enables heating and air conditioning from the same ground source heat pump.

Nordic Geothermal Heat Pumps have two stage compressors, making them energy efficient. Most geothermal heating and cooling systems are able to operate between 300 and 400 % efficiencies!
